Trex®-Sunburst Doormats
Our Mister Boardwalk® Wooden Doormats combine durability, functionality, and distinctive style. Available in both Sunburst and Rectangular designs, these mats are built using the same materials and flexible rope construction as our Roll-Out Boardwalk Walkways, creating a strong and long-lasting outdoor mat.
The open slat design allows mud, sand, snow, and water to fall through the mat, helping keep your entryway cleaner and drier. The flexible wood slats also act like multiple boot scrapers, helping remove dirt before it enters your home.
Built with no rusting nails and edges that won’t curl, these mats are designed for reliable outdoor use in all seasons.
Trex® composite is a durable, low-maintenance material made from a blend of recycled wood fibers and plastic. Designed for performance in outdoor environments, it offers the natural look of wood while providing excellent resistance to moisture, rot, splintering, and insects.
As a doormat material, Trex® performs especially well in entryways exposed to rain, snow, mud, and heavy daily use. Unlike traditional wood, it does not absorb water, helping it maintain its shape and appearance over time without cracking, warping, or fading.
Trex® composite doormats provide a clean, modern look and are an excellent choice for customers who want the appearance of wood without the upkeep required by natural hardwoods.
Maintenance Tips
Routine Cleaning: Shake out debris regularly and clean with mild soap and water as needed to remove dirt, sand, and mud.
No Staining Required: Trex® does not require staining, sealing, or painting to maintain its durability.
Surface Care: Keeping the surface clear of built-up debris and occasionally rinsing helps maintain appearance and traction.
Low Maintenance: Trex® resists rot, splintering, and insect damage, making it a dependable, long-term doormat option.
Slat Spacing
Narrow Spacing (5/8" Between Slats)
Great for bare feet, small pets, and everyday household use. Narrow spacing provides a more refined appearance while still allowing dirt, sand, and debris to fall through the slats.
