Teak/Ipe-Roll Out Deck

Our Mister Boardwalk® roll-out decks offer a simple and convenient way to create a beautiful wood deck surface without the time and expense of building a traditional deck. Made using the same construction method as our popular roll-out boardwalks, these deck sections are designed to roll out easily and lay directly on the ground or over existing surfaces such as patios, balconies, or rooftop decks.

These versatile deck panels are ideal for backyards, garden areas, patio decks, deck covers, balcony decks, roof decks, and terrace spaces. Whether you want to upgrade an outdoor seating area, add a natural wood surface to a balcony, or create a quick rooftop deck, roll-out decking provides a fast and practical solution.

For added design flexibility, the sections can be installed in a standard layout with all slats running in the same direction or arranged in a Parquet Pattern by alternating the direction of each section for a more decorative, custom look.

Teak/Ipe is our premium hardwood option for roll-out decking. While we use the term TEAK to help customers easily recognize the style and appearance, the material we supply is actually Ipe, a responsibly harvested South American hardwood known for its exceptional strength and durability.

Ipe is one of the longest-lasting decking materials available and naturally resists rot, insects, and harsh weather conditions. Its incredible density and durability make it an excellent choice for outdoor deck surfaces, including patios, balconies, roof decks, and terrace spaces.

This beautiful hardwood features a tight, elegant grain and rich, warm coloring similar to Teak. Over time, if left untreated, it will naturally weather to an attractive silvery-gray patina while maintaining its structural integrity.

Maintenance Tips:

Natural Weathering: Like many hardwoods, Ipe will gradually weather from its rich brown tones to a natural silvery-gray color when exposed to the elements. This change is cosmetic and does not affect the strength or durability of the wood.

Cleaning: Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water can help remove dirt, sand, or debris that may accumulate on the surface. A light pressure washing also works well.

Durability: Due to its exceptional density and natural resistance to insects and rot, Ipe requires minimal maintenance and is well suited for long-term outdoor use.

Slat Spacing Options:

Mister Boardwalk® roll-out decks are available in multiple slat spacing options to suit different environments and design preferences.

No Spacing

Creates a solid deck surface with no gaps between slats. Ideal for installations over grass, dirt, or uneven ground where you want more coverage and to help prevent weeds from growing through. Also a good option where a smooth, continuous surface is preferred.

Narrow Spacing

A versatile option that works well for bare feet, small pets, children, and patio furniture. It is commonly used for patios, pool areas, hot tubs, outdoor showers, balconies, and rooftop decks. Many customers also like the appearance, often describing it as “beachy” , “nautical” or “oriental garden”
