Mister Boardwalk® Connector Options

Order 1 Set Per Section of Boardwalk or Deck

Choosing the right connector ensures your walkway fits your needs, whether it’s seasonal, permanent, or commercial use. Here’s a guide to help you select the best option:

No Connectors

• Ideal for seasonal or short-term use, typically by homeowners.

• Quick and easy to install and remove.

• Works well when a continuous, seamless walkway isn’t required.

• Not recommended for commercial or public works applications.

Inboard Connectors

• Best for permanent installations, or areas that may need occasional removal for maintenance or severe weather.

• Compatible with Wide Spacing and Narrow Spacing walkways.

• For No Spacing walkways, Inboard Connectors are only available for permanent installations due to the more difficult installation and removal process.

• For temporary or seasonal No Spacing walkways, rigid deck tiles may be a better option.

• Note: For temporary walkways, Outboard Connectors are usually easier and faster to use (see below).

Outboard Connectors

• Designed for temporary use where quick setup and removal are a priority.

• Creates small “tabs” along the walkway edges, which some users may find visually unappealing.

Zip-Tie Connectors

• Perfect for seasonal use when a seamless, continuous walkway is desired.

• Not compatible with No Spacing walkways.

• Available via the Mister Boardwalk® Shopping Cart or at most hardware stores/home centers.

• Industrial-strength zip-ties are recommended for the best performance.
