Mister Boardwalk® Doormats are well known to last for many, many years. So when we added Colors, we were faced with a challenge. How can we make the Colors last as long as the Doormat? Years of experimenting led to the "Engraved" and "Stained" Doormats we offer now.

The Engraving process insures that the Stain is applied below the surface of the Doormat. The action of the shoe across the Doormat can't scrape the "Engraved" Stain off! And the Stain looks great for many, many years because we use only rugged Deck Stain. Ever used Deck Stain on a Deck? Try to remove it and you'll see why we're confident that our Colors will last!
